Esta nueva edición de los Golden Globes tiene a ‘Birdman’, del director mexicano Alejandro Gonzáles Iñárritu, como la principal favorita en cada una de las categorías para las que ha sido nominada, acumulando un total de 7 nominaciones, constando en la de Mejor Comedia o Musical, Mejor Director y Mejor Guión en una Comedia para Iñárritu, y Michael Keaton, Edward Norton, y Emma Stone recibiendo menciones actorales. Con 5 nominaciones encontramos al ambicioso drama de Richard Linklater grabado en 12 años, ‘Boyhood’, y ‘The Imitation Game’, protagonizada por Benedict Cumberbatch.
En las categorías televisivas, por primera vez desde el 2011 encontramos la ausencia de ‘Breaking Bad’, serie que llegó a su final hace casi dos años. ‘Fargo’, de FX, es la que lidera las nominaciones con un total de 5, mientras que ‘True Detective’ de HBO la sigue de cerca con 4. Las realizaciones originales de Netflix como ‘House of Cards’ y ‘Orange Is the New Black’ llegan con 3. La excelentemente recibida por la crítica producción de Showtime, ‘The Affair’, también consta con un tridente de nominaciones, al igual que la película para televisión de HBO, ‘The Normal Heart’.
